KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Teo Chee Kang has relinquished his chairmanship of the Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (CVLB) in order to concentrate on his duties as the Minister of Special Tasks.
Teo’s resignation as CVLB chairman took effect from September 1, 2013.
Teo was appointed as Minister of Special Tasks by the Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Haji Aman after he was re-elected as Tanjong Kapor assemblyman in the 13th general election held this year.
To concentrate fully on his duty as a cabinet minister, Teo tendered his resignation to the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Hajah Nancy Haji Shukri , the minister in charge of CVLB in July this year.
