KOTA KINABALU: A mother of three has failed to return home while celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri with friends in Tawau.
Rezaniah Mabaris, 26, has not returned home since leaving her village at Kampung Pulutan, Menggatal here around 2pm on August 7.
Deputy city police chief Superintendent M. Chandra said the woman’s 34-year-old husband lodged a police report at the Menggatal police station on August 10 when she could not be contacted for nearly a week.
According to her husband, the woman told him that she was going to Tawau with friends.
“After arriving in Tawau, the wife had called the husband to tell him that she was alright.
“But further attempts to contact his wife were futile which prompted the husband to lodge a missing person report,” said Chandra yesterday.
Chandra urged anyone with information on the whereabouts of the woman to contact Sergeant Amiran Mulud at 013-851 0014, the Menggatal police station at 088-492 222 or the nearest police station.
