TAWAU: Tawau General Hospital will receive 10 haemodialysis machines next year.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S Subramaniam said the new sets, to replace the old version, would provide high accuracy treatment.
He noted that currently, specific case patients in the district had to go to the state capital for treatment.
“With these new machines, doctors can diagnose more accurately and make a precise decision on the treatment,” he told reporters after visiting the hospital today.
Meanwhile, he said that the ministry would increase the number of staff at the hospital to enhance its servisces. — BERNAMA
