KOTA KINABALU: Banners to remember Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH17 and condemn the shooting of the plane were handed over to Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) at Kota Kinabalu International Airport Terminal 1 yesterday morning.

The banners bearing 3,000-plus signatures were signed by the people, including tourists, during the Sunday Gaya Street Fair in Kota Kinabalu.
MAS Sabah area manager (commercial) Nur Hayati Aziz Rashid and MAHB senior airport manager (KKIA) Sunif Naiman received the banners which was arranged by the Luyang assemblyman’s office.
Present were Luyang assemblyman Hiew King Cheu and MCA members led by MCA Kota Kinabalu chairperson Datuk Agnes Shim who expressed their deepest condolences and sympathies to the families and friends of those on board MH17.
