LAWAS: The strong cooperation and unity among members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Lawas is the key factor in ensuring that the parliamentary constituency continues to remain with Barisan Nasional (BN).
As such, Lawas MP Henry Sum Agong said PBB is putting high hopes on the young generation to continue the leadership of the party in the near future.
“Thus, youths must be ready to give cooperation and along with the women’s wing of the party form a strong foundation to bring benefit to the rakyat of all levels,” he said during the annual general meeting of Bukit Sari PBB Youth Wing yesterday.
He also told the youth members to embrace change and adapt with the times in countering challenges and handling of the party itself.
“Defend existing leaders particularly Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan who has put the welfare of the people and the party above anything else,” he added.
At the same time, he urged members of the youth wing to help disseminate information and explain government policies to the people to avoid confusion and misunderstanding.
Also present at the meeting was Lambir assemblyman Ripin Lamat, Zone 8 PBB Youth chief Awangku Jinal Abedin Pengiran Jawa and PBB Bukit Sari Women chief Aisah Bahar.
