PENAMPANG: A 37-year-old man was found hanged with a bedsheet from his bedroom ceiling in a first floor unit at Taman Suria Apartment here yesterday.
Alvin Chee Yun Hing, whose death was discovered by his father at around 4.30am, is believed to have taken his own life.
It is learnt that Alvin was staying with his father after his own family had returned back to the Philippines for a vacation.
District police chief DSP Ratan Kumar Singh said police have ruled out any criminal element involved in the case which has been classified as a sudden death.
“Initial police investigations showed no foul play was involved in the case and the victim’s body has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for a post-mortem,” he said.
