KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman has called on the community including teachers, especially religious teachers, to monitor their students to prevent them getting involved in activities that could destroy their religious faith and threaten national security.
Musa said they also needed to be aware of covert strategies used by certain quarters to promote their liberal ideology to Muslims, particularly the younger generation.
“We don’t want to see or hear members of the school community involved in activities that
destroy their religious faith or undermine national security,” Musa said in his speech at the handout of cheques for financial aid under the Sabah public religious schools and
government-assisted religious schools under the Special Development Stimulus Package here yesterday. – Bernama
