LABUAN: Eighty-one students with disabilities attended an outreach programme organised by the police at SMK Mutiara on Tuesday.
Superintendent Adzhar Othman said that the programme was intended for the police to reach out to the students and teachers, while giving a talk about crime prevention.
During the programme, the students were also given an opportunity to experience a ride in a police patrol car and get an idea of police duty while on patrol.
Adzhar later handed over goodie bags and Raya money to the needy students, in the presence of the principal of SMK Mutiara, Louren Abon, the schoolteachers and the Police Family Association.
