KOTA KINABALU: Sepanggar Umno division chief Datuk Jumat Idris has proposed a restructuring of various positions in the Inanam constituency.
Jumat, who is also Sepanggar Member of Parliament, said 90 percent of posts in the Inanam constituency were previously held by Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), a Barisan Nasional (BN) component party.
“But in the last general election (GE13), we lost the Inanam seat.
“In order to regain the seat, I think it is wise that the posts be distributed among other BN component parties.
“Through this, it will reflect true partnership as well as establishing good cooperation with the public at district level,” he said yesterday, adding that he would be meeting up with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman on the matter.
