KOTA KINABALU: A pedestrian was knocked by a traffic police motorcycle along the Tungku Abdul Rahman road, near the Kampung Air roundabout, here yesterday.
It is believed that the pedestrian was crossing the road from Bandaran Berjaya towards Kg Air when the traffic police knocked the victim around noon.
The victim, in his 50s, was thrown a couple of metres on the road and public immediately came to his aid before he was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
It is believed that the traffic police also sustained minor injury after he lost control of his machine.
It is learnt that the traffic police immediately lodged a police report on the incident at the traffic police station.
