KOTA KINABALU: In conjunction with its 48th anniversary, the Sabah Museum will be organising a three-day event filled with various activities from July 14 to 16 at its premises.

Sabah Museum director Joanna Kitingan told reporters at a press conference yesterday that admission would be free on July 15 for local and foreign visitors.

Among the activities to be held are traditional games such as pipe-blowing and ‘rampanau’ or stilt-walking, quizzes, special exhibitions as well as the Moginakan Festival.

While admission is charged at its normal rate on July 14 and 16, the games and activities will be free for all to participate and stand the chance to win prizes.

Considering that it will be held during the month of Ramadhan, the museum is also inviting those interested to open up booths at its Bazaar Ramadhan during the three-day event, for free. Contact Nismah Kana at 019 538 1087 for more information on the booths and bazaar.

Meanwhile, a sports exhibition featuring the nation’s athlete personalities from the 50s, 60s, and 70, will also be held for two months, starting on July 15.
