KOTA KINABALU: MATTA Fair Sabah 2013 is back from today until Sunday at Suria Sabah here, offering cruise customers great discounts and lucky draw prizes.
Matthewpaul Tours & Travel Sdn Bhd, the sole appointed preferred sales agent by Star Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line in Sabah, is among the hundreds of exhibitors strongly supporting this event.
Its managing director, Paul Chin, said they have 10 exhibition booths.
He disclosed that Star Cruises Superstar Aquarius will dock at Kota Kinabalu port from November 6 to March 29, 2014. Superstar Aquarius will be departing on Sunday for a three-night cruise from Kota Kinabalu to Brunei and Bintulu, Sarawak.
“We will be offering 50 per cent discount for the four-day-three night cruise during the Matta Fair period. Superstar Aquarius will offer one-night high sea cruises every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday,” he said.
MatthewPaul’s first charter cruise during the school holidays will be the four-day-three night cruise departing from Kota Kinabalu to Brunei and Bintulu, Sarawak on November 17 and return to Kota Kinabalu on November 20. The charter cruise has received good response from the market and 50 per cent of the cruise tickets have been sold.
Matthewpaul is also offering a second charter cruise of two days and one night, departing on Valentine’s Day, which also will coincide with Chap Goh Meh.
The company offers a Valentine package consisting of a bottle of 750ml house sparkling wine, a heart-shape cake (500g) with golden ribbons and streamers, a rose and a photo memento.
Matthewpaul has a lucky draw which consists of 105 prizes worth RM200,000 for its customers who had bought the Superstar Aquarius cruise tickets. The first prize consists of a Proton Preve 1.6 cvt Metallic, costing RM64,996.
