PENAMPANG: Two armed men robbed a 24-hour convenience store at Country Heights, here early Monday morning.
The robbers, one armed with a knife, entered the store and scooped RM1,000 from the cash register in the incident around 3.30am on July 1.
It was learnt that the robbers who were not wearing any face masks fled the scene in a Perodua Kancil car.
Meanwhile, district police chief DSP Ratan Kumar Singh confirmed the incident, saying the police were carrying out investigation to identify the suspects based on CCTV footage installed inside the premises.
He also urged anyone with information to come forward to assist the police in their investigation.
