KOTA KINABALU: The Ministry of Resource Development and Information Technology will be organizing the Sabah Career Expo on November 30 and December 1 at 1Borneo Hypermall.
Forty-one government bodies and private companies offering jobs at various levels will be opening their booths from 10am to 9pm during the two-day event.
Its minister, Datuk Siringan Gubat, in announcing the event yesterday, said that the annual Expo this year will also feature a new addition, Hobbycon.
Hobbycon features a series of animation characters and creative contents that could help in creating employment opportunities, said Siringan, adding that an ICT Fiesta would also be held concurrently with the expo.
“Visitors can explore all the 70 participating booths offering jobs or the latest information technology gadget in the market. Also, they will stand a chance to win exciting prizes as there will be lucky draws throughout the event,” he added.
The theme for the expo this year is “Human Capital and ICT – a Transformation Catalyst”.
As in the previous events, many of the participating agencies and companies will be conducting open walk-in interviews to select qualified candidates for the posts they are offering.
